Kenzi & cousins

Ok, So I had to post these pictures of Kenzi and her cousins, Kayla and Kami. When I got to Oregon I forgot nylons and HAD to make a trip to Walmart. Carter stayed at the convent and put Kenzi to bed and I got my mom, Gramma Bailey or "Bailey" and sister-in-law, Shauna, to go with me. Well it was late and of course we spent way too much time and way too much money and Gramma had to get the girls matching outfits complete with ribbons for the hair. And while I know that my brother, Mike, is not a fan of matching anyone, I think the girls look absolutely adorable. Of course it has everything to do with the models!! Later!

Kenzi likes the Beach!!

So since we have moved out of Southern California, I have realized that I like the Beach. A LOT! So anytime we are near one I have to visit it as much as I can. Every time I would go to the beach Kenzi would stick one toe on the sand and pick it right back up and would not let you put her down. Well this time she got put down to test it and both Carter and myself "encouraged" her to walk. She is a big girl now! And she loved it! She actually played in the sand with the shovel and bucket we got for $3. She even went into the water and tried Carter's boogie board. She was fine until a wave came over the front of the board, then we were done with that. Though before we left she wanted to go out pretty far and I had to hold her back. We had a wonderful time at the beach and hanging out with Gram Mac! P.S. The really funny part was Carter found an Ironman towel that he could not live without. He brought it to the beach and as soon as he layed it out, Kenzi got up from where she was playing and layed on it and put her hands behind her head as if to say, "Thanks daddy, this is for me, Right!"

Goin' to the Jungle!

So one of the many things we did while on our trip from Oregon to Northern California is go to the Jungle. It is a lot like Chuck E Cheese, except for the HUGE habit rail for humans. There was even a slide that went from upstairs to downstairs. At one point I did not know how to get out and those tunnels hurt your knees!!! (Or I am just getting old!) Kenzi had a GREAT time running around and being a spaz! She tried to play Air hockey and did alright, though I dusted both Kenzi and Mom and beat my Dad!! Yippee! Though the best part was watching Kenzi clean up all the balls and throw them back in the ball pit! That is my clean freak!!! And get a load of mom on the Jet Ski! We had a lot of fun. Thanks Bailey and Papa for spoiling my kid and showing her how much you love her! Later, Kari

Happy Easter!

Well, Mackenzie took a nap on this fine Sunday morning and when she woke up the Easter Bunny had come to our front yard. He tried the backyard but thought there was just a little too much dog dirt that needed to be picked up first. And instead of providing that service for our family he checked the front yard first and I guess that is where he decided to leave his goodies. Mackenzie was so excited to try and find the little prezzies in the shape of an egg. There were a couple that dropped on the ground and the goodies came out. While Carter was helping to pick up the spilled egg, he took a bite of one and Kenzi wanted the same. They say you eat a pound of dirt before you die, so Mackenzie is well on her way... We are still working on Halloween candy (is that embarrassing to admit?) so I am not sure if we will get through the Easter candy, but she is enjoying the candy while it is here. We hope that you had a great Easter and Happy Spring! Later - Kari
