Evolution of Dance...

Ok, so everyone knows I enjoy dancing. When I saw this video I about peed my pants just remembering all of these moves. Some of them were before my time but got resurrected during my life time. So if you want to smile for six minutes take a look. And this is fine for children. I let Kenzi watch it and she watched me for when I laughed to which her response would be put her hand on her mouth and laugh really hard and then say "That is so funny mommy!" Later!

Yippee Me... again

So I have a friend that started a Crafty blog. Click here to see what I mean. This is where I got the idea to do Valentine's Garland. Hers was 54" and mine was more like 11 feet. But I had a great time doing it and I have to say I LOVE the finished product!

I have other friends that made a Christmas house and I loved it, so here I go again copying with a twist. People like to say I am creative, but I am just good at following directions and copying. I talked with Kenzi and asked her what we should make the house. We both liked the idea of making a Valentines house being as how we already have a ton of Christmas decorations. I am happy with the finished product too!

My friends have decided that this is my holiday wall. So now I am not sure what I am going to do for St. Patricks Day. Guess I better start searching to steal another idea! Later!

Snow Days!

So we had record breaking snow in the Dallas Metroplex. 12.5" in Dallas and 8" here in Allen. We had such a FUN time! We played yesterday and today. Here is our efficient cozy home! Doesn't it look awesome! Snow makes a trailer park look nice!
So here is the mommy Snow-woman, that we made yesterday. And by "we" I mean Carter and I. Kenzi was DYING to make a snow man named Frosty. So we go out and she is running around like a road runner while Carter and I worked. Gotta love my girl!

Here is Carter and Kenzi making snow angels. I think Kenzi made about a dozen of them between yesterday and today. She LOVES to make snow angels.

Here is a picture of me with my cowgirl hat. I hardly ever wear it but when we decided to put it on the snow girl I had to wear it back in. Carter likes it!

So this is the final result of our two days of snow. We had so much fun with it. Lickily, Luckily, the next day did not freeze the water and the roads were pretty clear. So everything just looked beautiful! Later!

Boyfriend...

At breakfast yesterday Kenzi proceeded to have a conversation with us...

Kenzi: "Mom, Dad, I have a boyfriend."
Carter leans forward to close proximity of her. My eyes about pop out of my head then I put them back in and continued...
Mommy: "Really, what is his name?"
Kenzi: "Caleb"
Mommy: "Oh, what is a boyfriend?"
Kenzi: "You know and boy that is a kid."
Mommy: "And is he a friend?"
Kenzi:" Yes"
Mommy: "Do you have any other boyfriends?"
Kenzi: "I think no."
Mommy: "Well what about Ben?"
Kenzi: "Oh, yea. Ben is a boy and my friend."
Mommy: "What about Travis?" (Travis is a boy at school as is Caleb. Ben is my friend Carly's son.)
Kenzi: "No"
Mommy: "Why not?"
Kenzi: "Because at school he growls at me and I don't like that."
Mommy: "Oh so he is not a friend?"
Kenzi "No"
Mommy: "Oh, okay."

Daddy, who is still leaning forward during this whole conversation: "Hey little one... no one is allowed to touch you without asking daddy first!"
Kenzi: "Okay Daddy."

Mommy: "OK Carter she is four!"
Daddy: "Hey if we can talk to her about being modest now, we can talk about dating now!"
Mommy: "OK, I get your point"

Who knew this started so early! Hope you had a good laugh!
