Summer of Fun Week 1

So, this is labeled as the Summer of Fun (SoF). Since Kenzi is starting kindergarten August, I have decided that we are going to end our 100% of the time together with a big bang this summer. Now I know that she is not going to die and that she will come home everyday. But we are still going have a lot of fun! This is week one. We have a lot on our calendar this summer so I figure it would be best to have a post a week. There will be video too as I was able to get one on here with all of the photos. So enjoy!

WEDNESDAY - Storytime at Northpark Center. Author Kate Watson wrote a book about Little Gabby her pet dog.

We were on a manhunt for a play area. Though Northpark does not have a play area for kids, kids usually make their own play area!

THURSDAY - Patio Session at AT&T Performing Arts Center. A local artist was playing while Kenzi ran around the whole time in the water feature! Even though there was only about 1/4 water covering the black tile she got wet from head to toe! I am pretty sure she is a fish!

FRIDAY - Storytime with Miss Genie @ Interurban Railway Museum and Lunch with Carter at Los Colinas Mustang Sculpture. This story teller was GREAT! She used voices and made many jokes that Kenzi laughed at!

There was water at the Mustang Sculpture and I told Kenzi she could not get in. Then when I saw this I knew I would not win. Soo...

Next I saw this! She actually got wet up to her knees!

SATURDAY - A visit to the Nasher Sculpture Center. We took DART to get there and while walking the couple of the blocks to get to the Center we stopped at Chase Tower Courtyard and had lunch. It was so nice with the music and beautiful landscaping. We also took the Street car or Trolley back to DART and then home again. Fun, Fun, Fun day!
